Liz has served as Venova’s business and finance expert since 2019. She has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, financial modeling, and due diligence. Liz started her career in commercial banking and then transitioned to international project finance throughout Latin America and Asia. Over the past decade, she has worked with, advised, and invested in start-up companies focused on making a positive social impact. Liz is currently a Managing Director at Golden Seeds, one of the nation’s most active angel investment firms providing early-stage and growth capital to female-led businesses with diverse management teams.

Liz holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and an MA in International Political Economy from Johns Hopkins University. She earned her BA in Economics from Cornell University where she graduated With Distinction in All Subjects.
